Pizza-making in Italy

Dates: all year long, starting from February 2015. Duration – 4 days.

Price: 450 €
The price includes fee of training course, accomodation, breakfast and dinner. 

Aim of the course – to learn how to prepare authentic italian pizza, to learn it by doing in traditional Sicilian restaurant-pizzeria, using tools of pizza maker, and to do it in short term.

Target group: anyone who wants to know main principles of pizza making process, to do it in authentic Sicilian pizzeria, and in a short period.

Programme: it is a short course, duration is 4 days and 10 hours in total (2 hours of theory + 8 hours of practice). During the course participant will learn:

  • how to prepare the pastry of pizza, using few different receipts,
  • how to choose right products,
  • how to cook pizza in a wood fired owen,
  • how to take care of hygiena,
  • how to adapt this knowledge at home environment.

Competences to be improved:

the participants in a short period will acquire selected knowledge about authentic italian pizza making process from A to Z (from choosing a receipt to cooking in a real wood fired owen in a real Sicilian pizzeria). The course is based on know-how and learning by doing principles, so everyone will learn few different receipts of pizza pastry, they will have possibility to practice using professional pizza-maker’s tools, and will know more about hygiena and temperatures during pizza-making process.
